Following the success of the junior form visits to Belsize Community Library, the English and PSHE departments created a donation initiative to provide the library with fun and educational new titles.

In a brilliant effort from the 16th October to 3rd November over 440 books were brought in from children across both senior and junior departments.

Belsize Community library is independent and volunteer run following its near closure by Camden Council in 2012, and plays an active role in the local community as a vital hub for projects and events.

Participation in the scheme encouraged the children’s active involvement in the community, furthering this key aspect of their personal development in giving their books a second life.
