Today, students at Trevor-Roberts celebrated the 80th anniversery of VE Day. At the end of the school day, students took their seats in the sunny playground for some celebratory drinks, scones and music — including a whole school rendition of We’ll Meet Again. To gain a deeper understanding of the day itself, the school then listened to a fascinating audiobook retelling, told from the perspective of someone hearing the announcement on the day itself.
