Quartus/Tertius Trip to Walton Firs

Published On: September 19th, 2026

On Friday the 18th of September, Quartus and Tertius went on the yearly school trip to Walton Firs. There, they took part in a number of activities led by Walton Firs staff such as caving, crate climbing and even tomahawk throwing.

One of the most popular activities was the medieval themed maze and the games of ‘capture the castle’ that took place.

In the evening, STR and DTR taught the children how to make bread using just flour and water and Mr Willis led a rousing rendition of the sea shanty ‘A Drop of Nelson’s Blood’.

After that, it was time for a quick hot chocolate and then off to bed in the dormitories. In the morning, a breakfast of bacon, eggs, cereal and toast was followed by one final activity before it was time to head back to Trevor-Roberts.
