In today’s science lesson, Octavus students released butterflies they had been nurturing throughout the term. They had been learning about the life cycles of butterflies, and had the exciting chance observe them from larvae all the way up to beautiful butterflies.
‘We had to release the butterflies into the playground today, it was so much fun watching them grow! I tried to let go of mine onto a flower so it could have some food. This might also mean it would be far away from predators!’ Lily – Octavus
