Isle of Wight sailing trip
TR’s trip to The Isle of Wight for Year 6 is definitely a journey that I will remember forever. It’s a long standing tradition and one not to be missed. It’s a four day trip involving stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, dinghy sailing, keel boating and many more water activities.
We were so excited on the journey that we stuffed our faces with sweets against the teacher’s advice.
The dinghy sailing was an absolute joy for me and so much fun because my group capsized and fell into the water so many times and bumped into so many other boats. Somebody even fell off their dinghy as they were sailing. As if this was not enough, my team started a wobble war competition whilst we were paddle boarding. Our teachers got “jealous” and had to join in the fun. In the end they battled each other and all fell off.
Everyone had a fabulous time and it was a great opportunity to bond and spend time with my friends as the majority of us are leaving soon for secondary school, like myself.
Thank you TR for this opportunity.
