Gardening Club Welcome Spring
Students from Medius, Transitus and Primus welcomed not just this week's warmer weather, but the blooming of daffodils they had planted as part of the Trevor-Roberts Gardening Club.

As part of the Picker Pals environmental programme, children in Quintus and their families have volunteered their time to go litter picking . Equipped with their litter picking pack, Benedict and Ted headed to Norfolk and completed a litter pick on the beach over half term.
After learning about flowering plants, Primus investigated the different adaptation of seeds, specifically wind dispersed seeds. Each group had to change an aspect of the seed (mass, wing length or wing width) and see how this affects the time spent in the air.
The Septimus Gymnastics Club have been working hard this term, putting together their own presentation of rolls, turns and lifts for their parents. Working as a team, they put together both their musical and gymnastic abilities for a showstopping performance!
On Friday 30th January, members of Trevor Roberts Senior School listened to Hedi tell her story first hand. Now 96 years old, Hedi spoke with clarity, emotion and humour as she recalled the events of her life.
The TR running club had its biggest ever turn out yet for a rainy January run on Primrose Hill. They were also joined by Elodie in Quintus who is preparing for the ISA Nationals. Best of luck, Elodie!
This week in science, Quintus made presentations on different ways of generating electricity and their sustainability.
In chemistry this week, Secundus had the opportunity to use Liebig condensers, developing their practical laboratory skills while learning how vapours can be cooled and condensed during experiments.
Thanks to the Junior Department, the Christmas play season at Trevor-Roberts is in full swing. The stage is set and costumes donned for a week of shows, the result of weeks of hard work and rehearsal from the children.
Mindfulness Club is one of the many clubs that students have enjoyed so far this term at Trevor-Roberts. The Senior Mindfulness club is a fantastic way for chidlren to start what can be a very busy day of lessons, sports and extra-curricular activities.
