Medius and Transitus Trip to the London Mithraeum
On Friday 2nd October Medius and Transitus went to the London Mithraeum. During the visit the children were able to discover what life in Londinium was like 2000 years ago.
First, the children became archaeologists by taking part in a workshop where they handled and investigated real Roman artefacts. Afterwards the children wandered the ruins of the Temple of Mithras and learnt about the discovery and preservation of this ancient Roman site.
