Secundus visited the National Gallery to partake in a Talking Paintings Tour. They got to see lots of paintints, varying from depicitions of religious texts and impressionist works. The tour took them through lots of detail about the history of the works and how they were made.

‘The National Gallery was really interesting. It was fascinating learning about how difficult blue paint used to be to obtain. You used to have to go Afghanistan to find it by crushing lapis! There were some amazing paintings too, lots of there were quite similar to ones we saw at the Picasso Museum in Barcelona.’  Cosimo, Secundus
