Septimus Tower of London trip

On Monday 22nd April, Septimus visited the Tower of London. Whilst there, they got to see everything they’ve been learning about in history lessons up close. This included battlements, the White Tower, and the Traitors Gate. At the end of the trip, Septimus were trained in how to become Knights of the Realm by Princess Joan, daughter of Edward I!

‘In lessons we had learnt about the ravens who live at the Tower of London. There is very old story that says if the ravens ever fly away from the Tower of London, it means the White Tower will collapse. However on our trip, we learned that that story is actually a myth.’ – Jacob, Septimus
