On Tuesday 7th November, Secundus learnt about Sir Francis Drake’s historic circumnavigation of the globe on their visit to the Golden Hinde galleon.
‘When we arrived it was a spectacular ship with incredible detail. The tour guide showed us how the English sailors used to live at sea and how they gained power by stealing from the Spanish empire. It was a really amazing replica of the ship, and it was especially fun to visit below deck to learn about how exploration really worked.’ – Willow, Secundus
