On Monday 5th February, Primus, Secundus, Medius and Transitus enjoyed a thrilling performance of Romeo and Juliet, lead by the Box Clever Theatre Company. Primus also participated in a theatre workshop following the play.
The inclusion of a narrator ensured the play was understandable, engaging and relatable throughout, using humor to contextualise otherwise abstract prose.
‘The play was engaging because the narrator interacted with the audience a lot, even getting some of Primus to act! I also thought that the stage itself was interesting because it was in the centre of the room, with moving parts and platforms that the actors interacted with. This made it feel immersive, so although I knew how the play ended I was still emotional!’ -Sienna, Medius
